REQUEST FOR BIDS FOR
LINCOLN SCHOOL
ROOF REPLACEMENT
1. Notice is hereby given, that Independent School District No. 206, Alexandria, Minnesota, will receive bids for the replacement of approximately 19,000- square feet of roof on Lincoln Elementary School, according to the specifications and conditions which may be obtained from the office of the Superintendent, Terry Quist, I.S.D. #206, 1410 South McKay Avenue, Suite 201, Alexandria, Minnesota. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Lincoln Elementary School on April 30, 2010 at 2:00 pm for all prospective bidders. Proposals shall be submitted in form and manner contained in the specifications and the conditions.
2. Proposals must be received in the office of the Business Director no later than May 12, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at which time the bids will be opened and tabulated and distributed to interested parties. No change can be made in the written bids without consent of the school district. Please mark the envelopes.
3. On or about May 17, 2010, the school board will evaluate the bids and act thereon. The school district reserves the right to accept, reject, or negotiate any bid and to make an award for the roof replacement which is deemed most favorable and advantageous to the school district.
