Ice skating show to take place Friday and Saturday
“Light the Fire Within” will be the theme of the 31st annual Alexandria Figure Skating Club’s (AFSC) ice show this weekend at the Runestone Community Center.
“Light the Fire Within” will be the theme of the 31st annual Alexandria Figure Skating Club’s (AFSC) ice show this weekend at the Runestone Community Center.
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. on Friday, April 16, and 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 17.
Skaters from preschool to adult will take part in the event as groups perform to numbers choreographed by AFCS coaches Connie Brukow, Kathy Carlsen, T.J. Pedergast, Sara Linow, Brittany Muzik, Elizabeth Hausmann, Allison Wood and Lindsey Bryant.
Jefferson High School seniors Muzik and Hausmann will be showcased during solo performances.
This year, the AFSC will be holding a silent auction using merchandise donated by a local celebrity.
