The West Central Lakes Chapter of the University of Minnesota Alumni Association is sponsoring a program about Minnesota’s climate.
“Minnesota’s Climate: Lessons from the Past and Implications for Our Future” will be presented by Dr. Mark Seely, a U of M climatologist and author.
Seely will speak at the Alexandria Technical College Room 743, the auditorium in the south campus at 1601 Jefferson Street, at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday, April 20. Signed copies of his book will be available.
Area high school seniors who have been admitted to the U of M and their parents are invited to attend.
The event is co-sponsored by the Senior College of West Central Minnesota.
