As the Central Lakes Concert Association (CLCA) brings its season to a close, it is excited to present Boston Brass – a brass quintet.
As the Central Lakes Concert Association (CLCA) brings its season to a close, it is excited to present Boston Brass – a brass quintet.
The performance is set for Monday, April 19 at 7:30 p.m. in the gymnasium at Jefferson High School in Alexandria.
This will be a bonus concert for those who are purchasing tickets for the first time for the 2010-2011 season.
Tickets sell for $35 per adult, $10 for students or $80 per family membership.
Because of reciprocity, a concertgoer has an option of attending nearly 19 concerts – six of which are local.

From exciting classical arrangements to breathtaking harmony, to burning jazz standards, Boston Brass achieves new levels in brass performance while treating audiences to a unique musical experience that captivates all ages.
The fully memorized concerts are touched with humor and personality, resulting in an evening of boisterous fun by five brash, brass players.
This exciting group has one simple goal – entertain at all costs with blistering precision.
The fun and emotion exhibited from this group is infectious and keeps audiences on their feet, demanding encore after encore.
Performing more than 100 concerts annually, the members of Boston Brass have dazzled audiences at concerts and jazz festivals around the world.
As committed to education as they are to performance, they also conduct master classes at high schools and universities around the country.
Members of Boston Brass include Jose Sibaja, trumpet; Jeff Connor, trumpet; J.D. Shaw, French horn; Lance Laduke, trombone and euphonium; and Andrew Hitz, tuba.
