Reaching out for hunger
Players raced to the middle of the Alexandria Technical College gym to grab a ball during a “Battling Hunger” dodgeball tournament Saturday.
Players raced to the middle of the Alexandria Technical College gym to grab a ball during a “Battling Hunger” dodgeball tournament Saturday. Organized by the Jefferson High School Social II class, the tournament raised money for the Douglas County Outreach Food Shelf through team entry fees and spectator tickets. The food shelf is open for appointments Monday through Thursday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Schedule an appointment by calling Wings Family Supportive Services at (320) 763-6638.
