Speakers named for Senate District 11 convention here

Andrew Falk and Brian Wojtalewicz will be the featured speakers at the Senate District 11 DFL Convention April 8.

They will speak to county convention delegates from Douglas, Todd, Grant, and Stevens Counties about “The Nuts and Bolts of What We’ve Learned in Over A Decade of Successful Western Minnesota House and Senate Races.”

The convention will be held on Thursday, April 8, in Room 205 at the Alexandria Technical College from 6 to 8:30 p.m.

The event provides an opportunity to endorse senate and house candidates for Minnesota State Senate District 11.

Jim Thoreen, a candidate from Morris, is seeking endorsement for Minnesota State Senate District 11. Senate District 11 officers for the next two years will also be elected.

Andrew Falk, Murdock, serves in the Minnesota House of Representatives, District 20A. Brian Wojtalewicz, Appleton, is the Chair of Senate District 20.

They will address the group from approximately 7 to 8:30 p.m. Any Douglas County DFLer is welcome to attend, since this event falls on the Douglas County DFL meeting night and merges the business of the Senate District 11 and the Douglas County DFL.
