Panther pride was flying high in Parkers Prairie last week as the girls’ basketball team made its first-ever appearance in the state tournament.

Fans held signs showing their support during the Panthers’ 54-50 victory over Southwest Minnesota Christian at Williams Arena Thursday.

The girls celebrated the victory with hugs all around.

The team wrapped up its best season in the program’s history with a third place finish in the Class A state tournament.
