The Central Lakes Concert Association (CLCA) is proud to present The Girl Singers of the Hit Parade.

The concert will take place Saturday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. in the gym at Jefferson High School.

The show, a salute to the great female vocalists of the 1950s, includes music from the unforgettable Rosemary Clooney, Patti Page, Connie Francis, Doris Day and Peggy Lee.

Audience members will not only hear fantastic music performed by an outstanding cast consisting of Colleen Raye, Debra O’Keefe and Jennifer and Sophia Grimm, but they will also take a nostalgic trip back to a simpler time.

Accompanied by the Norton Lawellin Trio, the music rings with excellent harmonies and great musicianship.

Guests are asked to sit back in their seats and enjoy great musical numbers such as Rosemary Clooney’s Hey, There and Come On-A My House; Patti Page’s Tennessee Waltz and Old Cape Cod; Doris Day’s Que Sera, Sera and Secret Love; Connie Francis’ Where the Boys Are and Who’s Sorry Now; and Peggy Lee’s Is That All There Is and Fever, just to name a few.

Audiences have been known to join in the singing and will sometimes dance to their favorite tunes, laughing along with some of the novelty tunes and stories, as well as getting a little teary-eyed during some of the more familiar ballads.
