Prairie Lakes Co-op members re-elect Ihnen as director

Prairie Lakes Co-op producer members have re-elected Randy Ihnen of Lowry as the director of their grain marketing, agronomy and energy based co-op.

Prairie Lakes Co-op producer members have re-elected Randy Ihnen of Lowry as the director of their grain marketing, agronomy and energy based co-op.

The election took place February 16 at the Prairie Lakes Co-op annual meeting in Alexandria.

The 2010-2011 Prairie Lakes Co-op producer member board is comprised of eight directors: District 1, Curt Stark (Hoffman), Ron Prahl (Hoffman), District 2, Ihnen (Lowry), Jerry Maus (Lowry), District 3, Paul Anderson (Starbuck), Brian Jergenson (Glenwood), and District 4, James Gruber (Elrosa), Tim Harvey (Long Prairie).

In addition to the election, about 1,510 eligible patrons of Prairie Lakes Co-op will share in a distribution of $3.8 million in cash patronage and equity redemptions during 2010 based on business they’ve conducted with the company.

Prairie Lakes Co-op (prairielakescoop.com), a CHS Service Center, provides products and services in the agronomy, energy and grain markets to meet the needs of its patrons.

Prairie Lakes Co-op has locations in the communities of Cyrus, Hoffman, Elrosa, Lowry, Long Prairie, Park Rapids, Glenwood and Starbuck, creating relationships with customers in agronomy inputs, propane, fuel and grain marketing.
