West Central Area’s Liza Torgerson set a new school scoring record during the Knights’ victory over Minnewaska in the Section 6AA-West basketball playoffs Thursday night. Torgerson scored the new mark of 1,715 at the eight-minute mark of the game, breaking the old mark of 1,714 set in 2003 by Megan Ronhovde.
