Walk MS set for Sunday, May 2
The Christopher and Banks Walk MS, a fundraiser to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS), is set for Sunday, May 2 beginning at City Park in Alexandria.
The Christopher and Banks Walk MS, a fundraiser to help find a cure for multiple sclerosis (MS), is set for Sunday, May 2 beginning at City Park in Alexandria. Check-in is from 10 to 11 a.m.; walkers may begin at 10 a.m.
There are three route options – a 1.5-mile Alex park walk; a 3.5-mile Alex park walk to the Central Lakes Trail to Alexandria Extrusion; and a 6-mile Alex park walk, to the Central Lakes Trail to West Lake Cowdry Road.
Money raised through Walk MS helps fund vital MS research projects, support programs and services for the nearly 10,000 people living with the disease in Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
There is no pledge minimum for Walk MS, but participants are required to raise pledges.
