Engagement - Loen/McKibbin

Chillon Ann Loen and William “Bill” Lawrence McKibbin announce their engagement. A May wedding is planned at Long Lake Lodge near Brandon.

Chillon is the daughter of Allen and Diane Loen of Benson. She is a 1998 graduate of Benson High School and earned a bachelor of arts degree in nursing from Concordia College and a master of science degree in nurse midwifery from the University of Minnesota. She is a certified nurse midwife at the Alexandria Clinic.

Bill is the son of Becky McKibbin of Manhattan, Kansas and Larry McKibbin of Jetmore, Kansas. He is a 1995 graduate of Manhattan High School and earned a bachelor of science degree in fisheries biology from Kansas State University and a master of science degree in wildlife and fisheries sciences from South Dakota State Univeristy. He is a fisheries biologist for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in Glenwood.
