Cody Tanis of Glenwood kept his balance while riding a rail during a skateboarding contest at the Alexandria Armory Saturday. The event was organized by The Faction Board Shop, Action Sports Ministries and Alexandria Youth for Christ. About 40 young people competed in the contest’s three divisions – beginner, intermediate and expert.
