Traffic flow on Highway 28 west of Morris has returned to normal, the Stevens County Sheriff's Office reported Thursday afternoon.
A BNSF train was stalled by snow that drifted over tracks along Highway 28 west of Morris near the airport Thursday morning.
The train became stuck in snow about a quarter mile from the crossing on 510th Street. Train cars blocked the Highway 28 crossing about two miles West of Morris, and authorities were diverting through traffic to alternate routes beginning at 5th Street and Atlantic Avenue in Morris.
