PUBLIC NOTICE

CARLOS TOWNSHIP

ANNUAL ELECTION

The Annual Election for Carlos Township will be held on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at the Carlos Town Hall, 210 Victoria Avenue in Carlos. Polls will be open from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The election will be for 1 Supervisor for a 3-year term; 1 Supervisor to fill out the remainder of a 1-year term and 1 Clerk for a 2-year term.

The Annual Township Meeting will follow immediately after the close of the polls at 8:00 PM at the Carlos Town Hall. The proposed budget for 2011 and other pertinent township business will be discussed and acted upon.

The Board of Canvass will meet following the close of the Annual Meeting to declare the official results of the election.

In case of inclement weather, the Election and Annual Meeting will be held at the same time and place, but one week later, on March 16, 2010. See accompanying sample ballot.
