Letter - Thank you for the support
These past weeks have been the hardest that we have ever had to deal with in our lifetime.
To the editor:
These past weeks have been the hardest that we have ever had to deal with in our lifetime. It is a parent’s worst nightmare to lose on of your children, but with this tragedy came the overwhelming comfort and support from this community and beyond.
We wish to thank our family, friends, law enforcement agencies, fire departments and the community of Douglas County for all the kind words, help and sympathy received. We would like to extend a special thank you to Pastor Wade Meyer, Chief Rick Wyffels, Sheriff Troy Wolbersen, Anderson Funeral Home, the Honor Guards and many other who have helped us in this difficult time.
We could not have been blessed with a better son, brother, grandson, relative or friend, and we hope the wonderful memories of Pat will live forever in the many lives that he has touched.
