Amy Engel will perform her senior organ recital on Friday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
Amy Engel, daughter of John and Joyce Engel of Garfield, will perform her senior organ recital on Friday, February 26 at 7:30 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church in Alexandria.
She will perform another recital on Sunday, March 14 at 2:30 p.m. at St. John’s University Organ Studio and Abbey.
Engel is a senior liturgical music major at the College of St. Benedict, studying organ under Dr. Kim Kasling.
Her piano instruction began in 2nd grade under the tutelage of Annette Helder of Brandon. Her organ instruction began in 8th grade under the direction of Rebecca Worley of Alexandria.
At the recital, Engel will perform works by Mendelssohn, Bach, Langlais, Buxtehude, Pachabel and more.
