Nuest, a board member of Jesus in Haiti ministries, helped collect the supplies from throughout the Morris and Hancock area, as well as getting rice from Feed My Starving Children. Conn, a flight instructor at On His Wings Flight Academy, along with Air Force pilot Chad Versteeg, left the airport Saturday to fly to Florida, where they plan to meet with other pilots who are going to Haiti. The use of the plane was donated by Fred Bursch of Alexandria.
