Average retail gasoline prices in Minnesota have fallen 4.4 cents per gallon in the past week, averaging $2.65 per gallon today.
This compares with the national average that has fallen 2.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $2.70 per gallon, according to gasoline price website MinnesotaGasPrices.com.
Prices in the Alexandria area are around $2.67 per gallon.
Including the rise in gas prices in Minnesota during the past week, prices today are 82.8 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 10.8 cents per gallon higher than a month ago. The national average has increased 10.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 87.7 cents per gallon higher than this day a year ago.
