Paris Hilton, Jeff Foxworthy to appear at Shooting Star

One of America’s biggest celebrities is visiting one of the area’s biggest casinos.
Sex symbol Paris Hilton is set to appear at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnommen on Jan. 30.
The event, which was announced on the Shooting Star website, is called the “Brrriffic Beach Bash Hosted by Paris Hilton.”
Music will be provided by special guest DJ Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy, and DJ Jason Smith. The event promises to have beach-themed contests and games, a Bon Jovi concert ticket giveaway and a “brrific” tropical getaway. Doors open at 8 p.m.; admission is $10.
Shuttle buses from the Fargodome to Shooting Star Casino will be available.
Other upcoming events at Shooting Star include an Elvis Presley 75th birthday tribute called simply, “Elvis, Elvis, Elvis” on Friday, Jan. 9 (free admission); and a performance by comedian Jeff Foxworthy on Friday, Feb. 26 at 8 p.m.
