Letter - Why is the war still going on?
Some can now have the last laugh. A few weeks ago on 60 Minutes, they told about Saddam’s WMDs. They were right under our nose. It was water.

He dug the world’s largest channel to drain rich marshlands that thousands of people were making a good living on. Then, when they dried up, he set them on fire and burned up thousands of people. Why the stupid inspectors didn’t catch that one is disturbing. I don’t think they wanted to find anything.
Why is this war still going? In 2006, Amy Klobuchar ran [for office on the promise that] she was going to end the war in Iraq. President Obama was going to end it and then Al Franken was going to end it. All blow and no show. There are bombs going off every day – killing more people than ever.
Now where are those people that were bashing Bush? Pretty quiet, I would say.
I agree with Tony Blair. He said that evil monster Saddam had to be put out of power.
