Sauk River Watershed District develops new position: environmental project technician
Tara Borgerding was recently hired as the Sauk River Watershed District’s (SRWD) environmental project technician.
Tara Borgerding was recently hired as the Sauk River Watershed District’s (SRWD) environmental project technician.
She will be responsible for assisting in the implementation and coordination of environmental programs and practices.
The position was added to further assist the implementation of projects throughout the watershed.
Borgerding has a bachelor of arts degree in biology from the University of Minnesota-Morris and is currently finishing her master of science degree: special studies in restoration and water quality from St. Cloud State University.
She has worked with the SRWD as an intern since 2007 and plans to complete her master’s thesis project on the Battle Point Park lakeshore restoration located on Lake Osakis.
Borgerding was officially hired for the new position in November 2009.
