Letter - Jesus will love you if you ask him to
In response to the article and letter about homosexuals, I want to explain why I think religion can’t think outside of the box – because religion is a bunch of rules that no one can keep anyway.
To the editor:
In response to the article and letter about homosexuals, I want to explain why I think religion can’t think outside of the box – because religion is a bunch of rules that no one can keep anyway.
I am a believer in Jesus Christ and would like to share that Jesus loves you so much that he died on the cross and shed his blood to pay for those broken rules and our selfishness.
For all who accept his payment, he promises to give a new heart – one that will long to please him and his ways and change it little by little. So we don’t follow after our fleshly desires that are against God, but pleasing to us. Well, pleasing to us at first anyway, because sin takes you farther than you want to go.
But Jesus does forgive us and love us if we ask him to. I did. I hope you will too.
