Alexandria’s Bob Alcott shot this eight-point buck out of a stand on his brother Tim Alcott’s land near Frazee on November 9 during the firearms season in Minnesota.
Alcott shot the deer with a Ruger 30-06 at around 10 a.m. on the Monday morning. It weighed 176 pounds field dressed. It is the third year in a row that he has shot a big buck while hunting the firearms season off his brother’s land near Frazee.
Alcott was hunting with Tim Alcott, Candi Sellin and Marlin Jahnke when he shot the big buck.
