Man who was killed at Crookston pipeline site is identified
The Polk County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the man killed Tuesday morning in a gravel truck accident at the Enbridge Pipeline site north of Crookston.
CROOKSTON, Minn. – The Polk County Sheriff’s Department has released the name of the man killed Tuesday morning in a gravel truck accident at the Enbridge Pipeline site north of Crookston.
Douglas Peck, 54, of rural Crookston, was pronounced dead at the scene after a gravel truck backed over him, the sheriff’s office said in a news release. An autopsy by the Ramsey County Medical Examiner’s Office is pending.
The investigation into the accident continues and no further information is being released at this time.
