Kim Jenson, a 1976 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria, and the daughter of James “Jimmy” Jenson, was recently honored in New York. She is one of 42 women executives from around the country to be included in the YWCA-NYC Academy of Women Leaders.

Jenson is currently the chief of staff for Wealth Management Americas at UBS, the Swiss banking firm. She lives in New York. According to her brother, Mark Jenson, a financial advisor for UBS in Alexandria, Kim has been hard to keep up with. In the last five years she and her husband have lived in Minneapolis, Denver, Chicago and now in Manhattan. However, they still vacation in Alexandria at least once in the summer months.

Jenson has worked in the banking and financial services business all of her career, beginning at Fergus Falls State Bank. She moved on to Northwestern National Bank (Norwest, now Wells Fargo) in Minneapolis. Since then, she has held management positions at Piper Jaffray, at USBank and at UBS. Most revently, she was the Midwest regional director for UBS in Chicago.
