Chargers, Panthers highlight All-LEC volleyball list

The Little Eight Conference co-championship volleyball teams combined to have six players named all conference recently.

The Little Eight Conference co-championship volleyball teams combined to have six players named all conference recently.

Brandon-Evansville’s Michelle Bruns, Megan Strese and Carli Randt were all named to the squad. Parkers Prairie added three as well as Sari Noga, Jazmyn Dorn and Sarah Sheper received the honor. Ashby had one representative in senior Amanda Johnson.

Also being recognized as honorable mention selections were BreAnn Neiman and Madison Dorn of Parkers Prairie and Courtney Jesnowski for Brandon-Evansville.

The Chargers and Panthers both finished with 9-1 records in the LEC. The two teams locked up in a five-game thriller in the subsection finals. Parkers Prairie won that and went on to represent the conference in the state tournament.
