JHS students attend jazz fest
The following students from Jefferson High School (JHS) in Alexandria attended the Central Lakes Conference Jazz Festival in Willmar on Monday, November 16.
The following students from Jefferson High School (JHS) in Alexandria attended the Central Lakes Conference Jazz Festival in Willmar on Monday, November 16: Peter Brackin, tenor saxophone; Jordan Weaver, baritone saxophone; Bennett Freitag, trombone; Brenden Weber, trombone; Sarah Peper, trumpet; Spencer Brand, trumpet; and Spencer Christensen, guitar.
The students were nominated by their directors, Todd Blaser and Greg DeGier, for their achievements in the jazz program at JHS. They participated with students from the Central Lakes Conference. They rehearsed all day and performed in a concert in the evening.
