Girl injured in horse-related accident
Rescue personnel were called to the Joe and Michelle Unger residence on County Road 11 in Douglas County shortly before noon on Sunday, November 8.
Rescue personnel were called to the Joe and Michelle Unger residence on County Road 11 in Douglas County shortly before noon on Sunday, November 8.
The Ungers’ 12-year-old daughter, Katey, had suffered possible head injuries in a horse-related accident.
The Carlos First Responders, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office and North Ambulance responded to the scene.
Unger was transported to the Douglas County Hospital, where she was airlifted to Hennepin County Medical Center. As of Thursday morning she was listed in serious condition.
