To the editor:
Minnesotans lead the nation in charitable giving. Individuals in Minnesota gave more than $4 billion to charity last year. Now, we are poised to lead again.
Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County, together with GiveMN.org, a first-of-its-kind giving website for nonprofits in Minnesota, is working to change the way Minnesotans experience giving and help create a stronger nonprofit community for Minnesota.
GiveMN allows donors to find and support organizations in Douglas County, like Habitat for Humanity, that match their philanthropic goals and easily keep track of their donations in a single online location. GiveMN is the first giving-site focused specifically on nonprofits in a single state, but donors can also access all registered United States 501(c)(3) organizations.
By giving online with GiveMN, Douglas County residents have the opportunity to make a huge difference. We hope you join the GiveMN community, one created by Minnesota donors and nonprofits for Minnesota donors and nonprofits, to help support and sustain the local nonprofit organizations that matter to you.
To make a donation, go to GiveMN.org and enter Habitat for Humanity of Douglas County or the name of another nonprofit you wish to support. Safe, secure online donations may also be made by visiting www.hfhdouglascounty.org.
If you have any questions, please contact me at (320) 762-4255. Thank you for your support to the non-profit community.
