Brock Lesnar’s UFC heavyweight title defense has been pushed back a little longer.
Lesnar, who withdrew from UFC 106 on November 21 because of an illness, has been diagnosed with mononucleosis and won’t be able to train for six weeks. That means he will not be ready in time for the rescheduled title showdown at UFC 108 on January 2.
If he can shake the sickness, UFC officials hope to have Lesnar back in the octagon sometime in March.
