The National Wild Turkey Federation Hot Hens banquet will take place tonight, October 23 in Parkers Prairie.

The 5th annual women’s only event will take place at the Parkers Prairie Event Center. Social hour begins at 5:30 p.m. and the dinner will take place at 7 p.m.

There will be a live and silent auction, along with raffles, games, drawings and many prizes.

Proceeds from the event will go to help expand the wild turkey habitat areas, to create more hunting opportunities and to assist with local Wildlife Enhancement programs.

Guests need not be a hunter to take part and enjoy the banquet. The only requirement for guests is that they have interest in having a great time and a desire to help raise funds for the Wild Turkey Federation.

The Hot Hens, along with the Leaf Valley Toms, gives a $1,000 scholarship each year to a qualifying high school senior.

Tickets are available by calling either Judy Ost at (218) 267-2942 or Carla Bettin at (218) 770-9390.
