Central Square to present concert series
Central Square’s Concert Series VII, entitled The People’s Choice, will include seven outstanding performance events beginning with Tangled Roots, a high-energy bluegrass band.
Central Square’s Concert Series VII, entitled The People’s Choice, will include seven outstanding performance events beginning with Tangled Roots, a high-energy bluegrass band.
Tangled Roots will perform on Friday, October 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the historic auditorium of Central Square Cultural and Civic Center in Glenwood.
The rest of the concert series includes: Cavern Beat, a Beatles Tribute Band from Chicago on November 19; It’s A Wonderful Life, presented by Lighthouse Theater on December 11-12; Church Basement Ladies on January 10; Ring of Kerry, an exciting Irish Band on March 17; The Great Pretenders, a male singing group on April 16; and wrapping up the series will be a concert with Nashville artist, Becky Schlegel Trio on May 1.
The concert series is made possible with the help of the Supporters of the Arts from throughout Pope County and surrounding areas.
