A clerk at Holiday on 3rd Avenue reported someone had spray painted the side of the building.
It was reported that two boys were trying to sell a set of golf clubs on Broadway.
September 10
A resident reported someone stole her purse from her car parked on 5th Avenue.
September 11
A caller reported a cat in a window well that couldn’t get out.
A 1990s model red Ford pickup was reported whipping doughnuts at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
September 12
Flowerpots were damaged on Broadway between 6th and 7th Avenue, as well as a flower bush on 6th.
It was reported that a couple of boys were shaking a state highway sign on 30th Avenue and Nokomis Street.
September 14
A resident reported her black, CompaQ, laptop computer and red and black cell phone were stolen from her bedroom at East 5th Avenue.
A vehicle fire was reported at mile marker 100 on I-94. A semi had its bearings on fire.
A resident reported four rods and reels and a tackle box were taken from the trunk of his car while parked on Jefferson Street.
A car window was broken and a package of CDs stolen from a vehicle parked at the skateboard park.
A wallet was stolen from a car parked outside the Douglas County Library. The wallet contained $200 cash, a driver’s license, two helicopter licenses and a Social Security card. The car window was partway down.
September 15
A complainant reported her neighbor’s dog is using her property as a bathroom.

September 9
Two separate residents reported a dog constantly yelping from a home on Donna Drive, Alexandria.
A garage was broken into on Westridge Lane in Kensington.
Someone shot out the window of a white Chevrolet Suburban while driving down Utopia Drive, Alexandria.
September 10
A resident reported a dog came after her while she was running on Big Sand Drive NW, Brandon.
A woodpile was stolen from Fryksande Road SE, Evansville.
A resident reported three trailers and snowmobiles were taken from his shed at Willow Road NE, Miltona.
Several decoys were stolen from a residence on Trisco Cove Drive, Osakis.
A resident reported loud noise, possibly from fireworks on Grant Street, Evansville. One suspect was arrested for outstanding warrants. After a second complaint, officers returned to the scene where a female fled on foot. She was arrested for fleeing and disorderly conduct.
September 11
Cattle were reported on Highway 27 west of Trophy’s and people rounding them up with 4-wheelers. It was the owners.
September 13
A farmer reported someone drove through his cornfields near Garfield, wrecking his crops.
It was reported that dove hunters were shooting in the city yard waste dump site in Osakis. The hunters were advised to stay on the wildlife property to the south of the fenced area.
A resident reported a naked man crawling on the driveway of a home on Schuelke Beach Road, Alexandria. The homeowner explained to the deputy he was getting ready for bed and forgot to cover his paving brick. He went outside in his underwear to cover it. He saw a vehicle coming and got embarrassed so he hid behind a dirt pile.
September 14
Cattle were reported on the road at County Road 3 and Ottertail Trail, Osakis.
A resident reported being attacked by a dog while walking her dog on South L’Homme Dieu Drive, Alexandria.
September 15
Damage from a vehicle driving on the Arrowwood Golf Course was reported. There was significant damage to the tee box and fairway on the 18th hole.
A resident reported someone riding a mini bike recklessly in ditches and jumping driveways and not wearing any safety equipment near Queen Street, Osakis.
A boat trailer was hit while parked in the public access lot at Lake MIltona.
