Neurologist to speak at Nelson Gables Monday

Knute Nelson will host a community presentation by Dr. Elias Bazakos from the Minneapolis Clinic of Neurology on Monday, September 21 at 6 p.m. in the Governor’s Room at Nelson Gables.

Dr. Bazakos will be partnering with the Alexandria Clinic to provide his services to the Alexandria community.

This presentation will be open to all community members, and will allow them the opportunity to be introduced to Dr. Bazakos, his practice and experience, and to gain a better understanding of neurological movement disorders, particularly Parkinson’s disease.

In addition to Dr. Bazakos’ information will also be made available on the NeuroFit program, Knute Nelson’s signature program, designed specifically for those living with Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis or other neurological movement disorder.

This one-of-a-kind wellness program takes a proactive approach to slowing the progression of neurological movement disorders. The goal is to help anticipate, delay and prevent symptoms. In this specialized program, clients receive individual attention in private, small group sessions.
