ORDINANCE 2-09
AN ORDINANCE ADDING THE COST OF PROSECUTION TO ALL PENAL OFFENSES PROSECUTED BY THE TOWNSHIP
The Town Board of the Town of Lake Mary deems it to be in the public interest to add the cost of prosecution to all penal offenses prosecuted by the Town of Lake Mary, and for that purpose the Town Board of the Town of Lake Mary ordains:
Section 1. The violation of any ordinance is a penal offense and subject to the penalties prescribed by the ordinance for each violation, except as otherwise provided by law, together with costs of prosecution. Notwithstanding the foregoing, no penalty shall exceed that provided by law for a misdemeanor.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall take effect and be in full force from and upon its passage and publication.
