Ambulance donated to sheriff's office

The Douglas County Commissioners recently voted to approve the donation of this North Ambulance to the Douglas County Sheriff’’s Office.

The Douglas County Commissioners recently voted to approve the donation of this North Ambulance to the Douglas County Sheriff’’s Office. The donated 1999 Ford Type-3 ambulance will be used to store, haul and tow equipment to scenes that require a specialty response such as those involving a dive or SWAT team. The sheriff’s office has had a good working relationship with the local ambulance service and during these economic times the donation is appreciated and will be put to good use, according to Douglas County Sheriff Troy Wolbersen. He’s shown on the left along with North Ambulace manager Rick Wagner (middle) and Douglas County SWAT Commander Brad Lake.
