Robbery reported at Super America on Nokomis

Police are seeking information about a robbery that happened at the Super America station at 211 North Nokomis Street in Alexandria Tuesday night.

Police are seeking information about a robbery that happened at the Super America station at 211 North Nokomis Street (next to Burger King) in Alexandria Tuesday night.

The Alexandria Police Department responded to a hold-up alarm at the gas station at about 11 p.m.

The clerk on duty reported that two black males entered the store and demanded cash from the till.

The men made a verbal threat indicating they had a weapon but no weapons were displayed, according to police.

After taking an undisclosed amount of money, the two suspects fled out the back of the store.

The case is still under investigation.

One of the suspects is described as a black male, approximately 300 pounds, between 30 and 40 years of age. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored jeans and white tennis shoes.

The other suspect is a tall, black male with a thin build who is in his 20s. He was wearing a green T-shirt with dark-colored jeans.
