Lynette Marie (Fuchs) Johnson, 32, Evansville, formerly of Melrose, died August 11, 2009.

Lynette was born October 18, 1976 at Melrose to Eldred and Kaye (Kemper) Fuchs Jr. She grew up in Melrose and attended school there. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1995. She attended Alexandria Technical College and Pike’s Peak College in Colorado Springs. She worked for Fuchs Transport and Willow Express as an office administrator. She loved caring for her children and spending time with family and friends. She also enjoyed scrap booking and organizing her photo albums.

Lynn is survived by her husband, Chris, of Evansville; children, Brittany and Christopher of Evansville, Ashley and Alecia of Starbuck; parents, Kaye Fuchs of Melrose, and Eldred (Cindy) Fuchs Jr. of Long Prairie; brother, Eric (Amy) Fuchs of Long Prairie; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry and Cheryl Johnson of Evansville; grandmother, Jean Fuchs of Melrose; brother-in-law, Johnny Johnson of Brandon; sister-in-law, Terry (Kris) Aske of Colorado Springs, CO; and niece and nephews, Brandon Fuchs and Alena and Anton Aske.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ben and Leona Kemper and Eldred Fuchs Sr.

Funeral Services were held Saturday, August 15 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Melrose with Pastor Jeremy Schneider officiating. Burial was at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Melrose. Casket bearers were Jason Fuchs, Jamie Fuchs, Johnny Johnson, Jeff Rademacher, Chad Kemper, Cody Field, Becky Blaisdell and Amy Clapshaw.
