Letter - Teamwork helps blood drives
It takes many hours of planning and hard work for a successful blood drive. We couldn’t do it without a great team of volunteers, Red Cross personnel, cash or food donations, and the places who so graciously agree to host the blood drives.
To the editor:
It takes many hours of planning and hard work for a successful blood drive. We couldn’t do it without a great team of volunteers, Red Cross personnel, cash or food donations, and the places who so graciously agree to host the blood drives.
And, of course, we need the blood donors, the regular donors who come faithfully, the first time donors and the walk-ins.
It is heart-warming to see donors from age 16 up to 90 come. We appreciate each and every one of them.
If you have never given blood or are lax in giving, do give it some consideration. Call 1-800-givelife or go to www.givebloodgivelife.org to make an appointment.
