Demo derby, tractor pull at Speedway

A variety of speedway and grandstand events are again planned for this year during the Douglas County Fair.

• Demolition derby. On both Thursday and Friday at 6 p.m. a demolition derby will be held in front of the grandstand. Grandstand admission for each night is $8 for ages 13 and older, $4 for ages 7 through 12, and free for children younger than 7.

• WISSOTA racing. On Saturday at 5:30 p.m. WISSOTA racing will take place at the Viking Speedway. Grandstand admission is $11 for ages 15 and older, $6 for ages 10-14, and free for children younger than 10.

• Tractor and truck pull. On Sunday at 6 p.m. a tractor and truck pull will be held in front of the grandstand. Grandstand admission for the event is $8 for ages 13 and older, $5 for ages 7-12, and free for children younger than 7.
