Lake Darling Association elects board

Tricia Scheffler and Ron Reiber, both new to Lake Darling, were unanimously elected to the board of directors at the Lake Darling Area Association annual meeting held August 8.

Officers for 2009-2010 include: Lois Sinn Lindquist, president; Carl Towley, vice president; Sue Engstrom, secretary; Tricia Scheffler, treasurer; and Tom Osterberg, past president.

Zebra mussels, which were recently found in Lake L’Homme Dieu, and other invasive water hitchhikers will be high priority issues for LDAA, according to the group’s leaders.
