Name of man killed in Perham motorcycle crash released

The State Patrol released the name of a man killed in a motorcycle accident Tuesday near Perham.

Ertwin Jones-Hermerding, 62, of Ottertail, was driving a 2007 Honda southbound on Highway 78 when he left the roadway into the west ditch, went over a driveway and landed on the upslope of another driveway.

The accident occurred six miles south of Highway 10 on dry two-lane blacktop. It was reported at 6:01 p.m.
