Shannon Christine Rettig and Matthew Joel Chan, together with their parents, announce their engagement and upcoming wedding.
Shannon is the daughter of Jolette and Bruce Rettig. She is a 2005 graduate of Jefferson High School in Alexandria and a 2008 graduate of the administrative assistant program at Alexandria Technical College. She is currently employed at Broadway Ballroom in Alexandria.
Matthew is the son of Dorothy and the late Louis “Fibber” Chan. He is a 2000 graduate of Minnewaska Area High School. He is currently employed as head of service for Klimek Brothers Well Drilling.
An August 29, 2009 wedding is planned at City Park in Alexandria.
