Engagement - Foss/Dirkes

Melissa Foss and Tim Dirkes announce their engagement.

Melissa is the daughter of Marilyn and Bruce Foss of Rochester. She graduated from Dover-Eyota High School. She attended Vermillion Community College and Bemidji State University, where she received a degree in social work. Melissa is currently working as a licensed social worker in Blue Earth.

Tim is the son of Sharon and Don Dirkes of Osakis. He graduated from Osakis High School. He attended Vermillion Community College and Bemidji State University, where he received a degree in wildlife, wildland law enforcement and criminal justice. He is currently a police officer for the city of Winnebago.

Melissa and Tim plan to get married August 22 in a small ceremony in Blue Earth with a reception to be held October 24 at the Mankato Holiday Inn and Civic Center.

They currently reside in Winnebago.
