Charles Johnson to perform at Mount Carmel

Charles Johnson will present an afternoon concert of vocal music on Tuesday, August 25 at 4 p.m. at Mount Carmel on Lake Carlos.

Johnson presents renditions of Scripture combined with music through the sponsorship of Music Serving the Word Ministries.

Johnson attended the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago where he studied voice under Theodore Harrison. He studied further under Dimitri Onofrei of La Scala.

He has performed around the country at many venues, including the operatic stage to the showrooms of Las Vegas; from key night clubs to the concert stage. He is the co-founder of Limeliters, one of Nashville’s talent agencies. He has been a soloist and choral director since his teenage years, serving churches in Chicago, Wisconsin, Nashville, Colorado and California.
