Senators fall in 16C playoffs
The Alexandria Senators were knocked out of the Region 16C playoffs this past weekend with a 10-3 loss to the Midway Snurbirds on Sunday.
The Alexandria Senators were knocked out of the Region 16C playoffs this past weekend with a 10-3 loss to the Midway Snurbirds on Sunday.
Alexandria avoided elimination on Saturday by taking a 7-0 game over Red Eye. The Senators got to that point after losing to Wolf Lake 11-6 in the opening round on Friday.
The win on Saturday extended Alexandria’s season, but not for long as the Snurbirds’ offense was too much to overcome on Sunday.
