Crash on Dakota Street injures passenger

A two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 29 and Dakota Street last Thursday sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries.

A two-vehicle crash near the intersection of Highway 29 and Dakota Street last Thursday sent one person to the hospital with minor injuries. The crash happened at about 4 p.m. Both drivers, Delroy Johnson, 70, of Alexandria and Karen Velde, 50, of Glenwood were reportedly not injured. A passenger in Johnson’s vehicle, Karen Johnson, 65, was transported by North Ambulance to the Douglas County Hospital where she was treated and released.
