ATC offers class on Sig Sauer handguns

Alexandria Technical College will host Sig Sauer training in September.

Sig Sauer Handgun Orientation will take place on Friday, September 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This class is ideal for the new gun owner or those interested in learning to shoot. This introductory course provides the student with the basic knowledge and skills necessary to safely handle, load, fire, and unload common types of pistols and revolvers.

Sig Sauer Basic Practical Handgun Skills will be held on Saturday, September 19 from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.

This course, the second step in training, teaches the student how to use their pistol from a holster, sight alignment, stance, trigger control and follow through. This course is an intermediate step between the Handgun Orientation and Concealed Carry Pistol class. All attendees should have the ability to perform foundational handgun skills prior to attending this course.
