Douglas County Hospice to host butterfly release

Hospice of Douglas County will hold a memorial butterfly release on Wednesday, August 12.

Hospice of Douglas County will hold a memorial butterfly release on Wednesday, August 12 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at City Park in Alexandria. The butterfly release is a time for families and friends to gather together and release butterflies in memory or honor of loved ones.

Butterflies are available for $5 each and can be purchased prior to the memorial release or at the event. Call Lynn at (320) 762-3045 to order butterflies.

Music at the event will be provided by Emergency Stop (Al Lieffort and Terry Kennedy). Dessert will be provided by Culver’s.
